About the Role

Avidety is looking for an organised and proactivePlanner to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in coordinating and scheduling electrical distribution, civil engineering, and construction projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

Working closely with Project Managers, engineers, field teams, contractors, and suppliers, you’ll be responsible for planning resources, managing schedules, and supporting the successful delivery of projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain work schedules for construction, maintenance, and electrical distribution projects.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, field teams, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare work packs, including job scopes, drawings, permits, material lists, and resource requirements.
  • Schedule labour, plant, and materials to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as required.
  • Support outage planning while minimising customer disruption.
  • Liaise with procurement to ensure materials and equipment are available before work begins.
  • Maintain accurate planning records and update work management systems.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve planning processes.
  • Ensure all planned work complies with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in planning, scheduling, or coordinating work within the utilities, electricity, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
