International Software House is looking for an excellent, Software Development focused Business Analyst with experience of requirements gathering and documentation. The successful Business Analyst will work for a prestigious software house with an impressive history and more exciting future. The Business Analyst will be embarking on challenging and cutting‑edge software projects (enterprise level and mobile) for this expanding, award‑winning company.

Responsibilities

  • Build key relationships between business functions and ensure technology requirements are identified and met.
  • Deliver activities following an agile way of working from inception through analysis, specification, user‑acceptance testing, and delivery of detailed user documentation.
  • Lead by example and help the Head of Business Analysis implement change and contribute to new processes and procedures.
  • Gather requirements and conduct gap analysis.
  • Provide functional analysis and design support.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working on software development projects.
  • Experience of stakeholder management.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and gap analysis.
  • Functional analysis and design experience.
  • Recognised business analysis qualifications such as SSADM, ISEB, or UML are highly advantageous; knowledge of Agile methodology is also desirable; BCS qualifications beneficial.
