Business Analyst – Software House – 50K

Overview
Software House Start-up currently launching their first products is looking for a Business Analyst (competency level of 5 years+). The successful Business Analyst will be comfortable working within the software development life cycle, can break down requirements and get to the true core of what is needed and transfer this into the functional specifications for the development team. Are you able to challenge and question why something needs to be done, can you contribute to the process and get projects over the line?
Responsibilities
- Work on the development of cutting edge enterprise-level software projects.
- Build key relationships between business functions and ensure technology requirements are identified and met.
- Deliver activities following an agile way of working from inception through analysis or specification or user‑acceptance testing and delivery of detailed user documentation.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers and the wider development team.
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast‑moving software environment. As the first dedicated BA you will have the platform to create an environment of your own, set the standards, process and procedures and be instrumental in working with both internal/external customers and influencing all levels of stakeholders globally.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Any recognised business analysis qualifications such as SSADM, ISEB or BCS will be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of the Agile methodology.
- Strong problem‑solving, documentation and project & resource management skills.
