Overview

Assist and support the efficient and effective management of the Fleet Stores. Take delivery of, record and organise the storage of all stock and direct purchase materials. Issue stock and direct purchase materials in accordance with the appropriate Force procedures. Prepare stock and stock control system for perpetual or annual stock control as required within Fleet hubs and mobile units. Operate the computerised fleet management system, including the inputting of accurate data and the provision of stores management information.

Responsibilities

Assist and support the efficient and effective management of the Fleet Stores, including receiving deliveries, recording stock, organising storage and issuing stock in line with Force procedures. Prepare stock control systems for perpetual or annual stock control within Fleet hubs and mobile units. Operate the computerised fleet management system to input accurate data and generate stores management information.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience within a fleet department is desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable.
  • Driving licence and a C1 counterbalance licence are both desired but not essential.

This role is based at Capital Park Workshop, Bankhead Industrial Estate, Edinburgh. It is full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm with no hybrid working available.
