Lead Midday Supervisor – Safe, Positive Lunchtime Play

Grassmoor Primary School is seeking enthusiastic, caring and reliable individuals to join our dedicated team of Midday Supervisors. We have three vacancies available.

• 2 x Midday Supervisor
• 1 x Senior Midday Supervisor

These important roles help ensure that all children enjoy a safe, happy and positive lunchtime experience. Please specify the role(s) you are interested in on your application.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, both indoors and outdoors.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support children in developing social skills.
• Promote safe and enjoyable play opportunities, modelling and joining the play where appropriate.
• Assist with the welfare, safety and wellbeing of pupils.
• Work effectively as part of the school team.

Senior Midday Supervisor responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support for the midday team, helping to coordinate duties and ensure effective lunchtime provision across the school.

Qualifications and attributes

We are looking for candidates who:

• Enjoy working with children and helping them to thrive.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are patient, caring and approachable.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
