Youth Work Team Leader – Hospital Project

Essex County Council is seeking a Youth Work Team Leader for the Youth Work in Hospital Project located in Basildon. This role focuses on providing support to young people aged 11–19 during hospital visits and facilitates recovery through guidance and collaboration with medical professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a JNC Level 3 qualification and prior experience in youth support work, as they will manage a caseload and conduct assessments to ensure young people’s safety and well-being. The position operates in a supportive environment with a focus on equality and diversity.
