CLIENT: Global Software House investing and delivering the latest in technology such as AI & Chatbots.
ROLE: The successful candidate will work as a sole software tester in this product development team (this company have multiple product development teams, all with a manual tester in them). Being a singular tester, you will need to be able to hit the ground running as well as take ownership of regression and exploratory testing working closely with the developers and rest of the team. Being at senior level, you will be a key figure in contributing to the Test Strategy as well as given the opportunity to gain Automated Testing training from the wider business. You should already have some knowledge e.g. theory, but this will give you the support to gain the commercial skills.
Further required experience and responsibilities include:
- Create and run test cases
- Defect management
- Test reporting
- Risk analysis
- SQL database interrogation
- Web, mobile and cross-browser testing
- WEP API testing
- Automated testing knowledge
- Relevant qualifications (ISTQB, ISEB, BCS, etc.)

Working closely with the software engineers you will ensure the highest standard of software quality as part of a collaborative process so will need to have great communication skills and not afraid to speak up.
