Salary: £32,000 – 35,000 per year

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and IT support processes
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise and solve problems effectively
  • Experience managing user accounts and permissions
  • 1st and/or 2nd line IT experience of 2 years preferred
  • UK work authorisation required
  • Ability to commute to Harlow CM19 or relocate before starting work
  • Desirable: Active Directory, Azure AD, Entra ID
  • Desirable: Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
  • Desirable: Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools
  • Desirable: ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft certifications
  • Desirable: Exposure to AWS and cybersecurity best practices

Responsibilities

  • Deliver first and second-line support for hardware, software, network, and user issues
  • Manage and resolve service desk tickets within agreed SLAs
  • Support Microsoft environments including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access requests, and password resets
  • Support joiners, movers, and leavers with equipment and access setup
  • Assist with infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and IT improvement projects
  • Manage ticket escalation and liaise with third-party providers
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous service improvement
