Job Description

IT Support Lead, Senior Support Engineer, Application Support, Software Support, Azure, Docker, Linux, ITIL – Leicester – up to £45K

Key Requirements

  • Experience with IT and application/software/system support.
  • Experience leading a team while remaining hands‑on or a senior engineer ready to step up.
  • Strong focus on processes, procedures and adoption of best practices.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic software house.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the support team, ensuring high‑standard processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a 70/30 split between managerial duties and hands‑on support.
  • Report to the Development Manager and collaborate closely with the dev team.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations (one in four) with associated bonus.

Package

  • Base salary up to £45,000.
  • 25 days holiday.

Location and Travel

The office is based in the Midlands, commutable from Leicester, Nuneaton, Coventry, Birmingham, Burton on Trent and the wider Leicester area. Must have a vehicle and be able to drive; public transport access is limited.
