Highly successful homegrown company is looking for their first Cloud Platform Engineer / AWS DevOps Engineer as they go through a large technology transformation. Such an exciting time to join this company as they invest massively in the technical landscape.
As the Cloud Platform Engineer / AWS Engineer you will build the foundation, structure, set‑up and governance to advance the platform and environment. Previous experience in DevOps or AWS infrastructure development is ideal.
Reporting into the Head of IT Operations, you will design and deploy cloud platform capabilities using AWS best practices, design and support CI/CD tools to streamline deployments and infrastructure updates, and lead technical operations projects from requirements to implementation to operations. You will enhance system performance and features regularly for an improved customer experience.
There is a plan to expand this team, offering the possibility to become the Lead if it fits your career goals.
- Several years’ experience in a system administration/systems engineering role.
- Experience in Cloud / Site Reliability / Infrastructure / DevOps.
- Strong cloud experience in AWS (ideally), Azure and GCP.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code – IaC, using Python, Terraform, or similar.
- Comfortable engaging with the wider business and acting as a major point of contact within the company.
