Description

The role: My client in Leicester is seeking a talented and creative Ruby on Rails Developer to join their teams. You will work on various external client projects, delivering web and mobile solutions under tight deadlines and rigorous standards. The candidate will help push the boundaries of browser capabilities and complement an innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications.
• Write clean, test-driven code (TDD) and collaborate with QA teams.
• Build responsive web or mobile front‑end components.
• Integrate with APIs and third‑party services.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Ruby on Rails / ROR development.
• Experience with mobile and/or web development.
• Strong understanding of TDD.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Node.js, or Angular.js is an advantage, not mandatory.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
