C# Developer – WPF / MVVM – Global Software

Description

We are looking for a C# / .Net WPF developer to work on cutting‑edge scientific software products in a fully established and competent development team. The role involves translating business requirements into software solutions, developing algorithms, programming in C#, estimating, designing, and implementing logic, and adopting an end‑user perspective to adequately test solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the development of scientific software products using C#, .Net 3.5/4.0, WinForms, SQL Server, T‑SQL, WCF, WPF, Crystal Reports, and Visual Studio 2010.
  • Translate business requirements into functional software solutions.
  • Research, design, and implement algorithms and C# code.
  • Estimate, design, and implement system functionality.
  • Test solutions from an end‑user perspective.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum sprints and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Co‑operate with a competent development team and report to the Development Manager.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead by example.

Qualifications

  • Proven commercial experience with C#.
  • Strong knowledge of WPF and/or MVVM.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint delivery.
  • Familiarity with .Net 3.5/4.0, WinForms, SQL Server, T‑SQL, WCF, WPF, Crystal Reports.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on teamwork.
