Are you a Junior Software Tester hungry for a step‑up into a new challenge? Do you have strong experience in Manual testing but are looking to learn and gain Automation experience? Do you have experience of working with SQL? If you’re 12+ months into your testing career and keen to secure your next move up the ladder, this will be a great opportunity to progress your software testing career forward.
Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to current testing procedures and methods, utilising manual testing methodologies
- Plan to venture into automated testing through learning (no previous experience required)
- Work closely with software engineers to ensure the highest standard of software quality through methodical and systematic testing of enhancements and bug fixes at the earliest development stage
- Define testing approach and enjoy exploratory testing
- Modify test cases and execute test scripts
- Gather, report and monitor test metrics and defect analysis
Qualifications
- 12+ months commercial experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience working with SQL
- Any coding experience and automation knowledge beneficial
Salary & Benefits
The salary on offer is up to £24-30K, with cross‑train into automation and an attractive benefits package.
Office Location
The office is based in Nottingham, easily commutable from Leicester, Derby and Chesterfield, and accessible by public transport.
