Description

Infrastructure Architect role in a global engineering firm. Responsibilities include designing and implementing infrastructure, building, testing, and ensuring high build quality, repeatability and delivery. Hands‑on design work, leading meetings, managing from initial design through to implementation during a transitional build. Use of Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, Hyper‑V, x86 blade and rack‑dense servers, Active Directory, Cisco UCS, networking, Office365, Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions for transitional build.
• Lead meetings and manage projects from design to implementation.
• Build, test, and implement all aspects of infrastructure.
• Ensure high standards of build quality, repeatability and delivery.
• Take ownership and accountability throughout projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience with platform technologies such as Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, Hyper‑V.
• Knowledge of x86 server blade and rack‑dense technologies.
• Experience with Active Directory, Cisco UCS, networking, Office365, Azure.
• Proven ability to manage projects from initial design through implementation.
• Strong teamwork, flexibility and accountability; willingness to work extra hours as required.
