Overview

ICT Services Manager – Solihull College & University Centre – B91, Solihull, West Midlands, B90 – £45,897/annum – Full time – NEW.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap between technical operations and business strategy.
  • Ensure day‑to‑day IT systems, support infrastructure, and technology services are delivered efficiently, securely, and in alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Support systems, people and processes to deliver a high‑quality digital experience for all college stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the ongoing success of the College’s Digital Transformation Strategy.
  • Manage a multi‑site service department.
  • Plan and manage budgets.
  • Oversee IT asset lifecycles.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, ensuring value for money and optimal service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience with service and change management.
  • Desirable: ITIL, PRINCE2 or AGILE qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi‑site service departments and budget planning.
  • Experience overseeing IT asset life cycles and supplier relationship management.
