Overview
Working as part of the Sirius Civil Engineering team as an Apprentice Engineer. You will also be supported in your studies to become a fully qualified Civil Engineering Senior Technician.
What You’ll Do
- Attend meetings where required and take notes
- Adhere to all Health and Safety on site
- Setting out and check drawings
- Update QA paperwork and checks/action frequently
- Cost control paperwork and checks/action frequently with managers assistance
- Highlight variation/changes on drawings
- Provide quantity as required to team
- Maintain drawing registers both on site and in office
- Attend internal site meetings and team meetings
- Maintain assigned surveying equipment and ensure regular calibration with certification
- Training Outcome: Successful completion of the apprenticeship will allow you to further your career in industry, with the potential to progress to university or to apply to study the HND in Civil Engineering

Qualifications
- Essential – GCSE: at least 4 GCSEs Level 4 or above
- Essential – BTEC: BTEC National in a relevant construction/engineering course (pass required)
