Overview

Help define how the next generation of wireless communications technology is tested. This opportunity is for a Principal System Test Engineer who will take ownership of how complex wireless products are verified, automated and validated. AccelerComm develops high-performance Physical Layer technology powering advanced 5G and satellite communication systems, and this role focuses on building scalable automated test capability and Python-based test frameworks, integrating RF instrumentation, and shaping the verification strategy.

This is a hands-on role where your ideas will directly influence engineering quality, automation and the way products are developed and released.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and developing automated Python-based test systems.
  • Developing scalable verification frameworks for advanced wireless communications products.
  • Integrating and automating RF test equipment including spectrum analysers, signal generators and VNAs.
  • Defining test strategies from system requirements and 3GPP specifications.
  • Working closely with Software, FPGA, Systems and Algorithm Engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Supporting customer demonstrations and occasional international customer engagements.

Experience and skills

  • RF or Wireless System Test
  • Python test automation
  • 4G/5G, LTE or digital communications
  • RF measurement equipment
  • System integration and verification
  • Embedded systems or wireless communications

Experience with 3GPP, lab automation, CI/CD, Hardware-in-the-Loop, ORAN or satellite communications would be beneficial but is not essential.
