Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Tester to join this specialist software house as they embark on developing ground-breaking applications that utilize everything from Artificial Intelligence to ChatBot technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and run test cases
- Defect management
- Test reporting
- Risk analysis
- SQL database interrogation
- Web, mobile and cross-browser testing
- WEP API testing
- Automated testing knowledge – e.g. an understanding of test automation, frameworks and any programming skills will be advantageous
- Relevant qualifications (ISTQB, ISEB, BCS, etc.)
The successful candidate will work as a sole software tester utilising their manual testing strengths in this specialist product team. Being a singular tester, you will need to be able to hit the ground running as well as take ownership of regression and exploratory testing working closely with the developers and rest of the team. As a senior level professional, you will be a key figure in contributing to the test strategy and will have the opportunity to gain automated testing training from the wider business.
You’ll enjoy working in a true Agile environment utilizing TDD and BDD techniques. Working closely with the software engineers you will ensure the highest standard of software quality as part of a collaborative process so you need to have great communication skills and not be afraid to speak up.
