Overview

Lead, inspire and make a lasting difference to children, young people and families as the Family Hub Team Coordinator. Manage and develop a dedicated team, oversee high‑quality early help services and evidence‑based programmes, and work closely with partners to ensure families receive the right support at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of early help services within a vibrant Family Hub setting.
  • Manage and develop a high‑performing team, including recruitment, training and supervision.
  • Oversee impactful services and evidence‑based programmes to improve outcomes for children and families.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with Supporting Families Teams, Social Care Teams and other agencies.
  • Drive service improvement, champion a whole‑family approach and ensure the Family Hub continues to deliver positive community outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive experience in safeguarding, child development and early help.
  • Experience managing and developing teams in social care, health, education or family support settings.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, child development and early help policies.
  • Proven track record of leading service improvement and managing resources and budgets.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective partnerships.
  • Solution‑focused, collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering high‑quality services.

Employment Details

Fixed‑term role until March 2029.

Appointment is conditional upon a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
