Cloud Architect – Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect for an initial 12-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location: London | Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in defining cloud strategies, architecture standards, and governance policies.
• Ability to lead the automation of infrastructure deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity, security, resilience, and platform engineering.
• Proven ability to lead technical design initiatives across multiple domains, including Data, Digital, Security, and other technical areas.
• Familiarity with working in public sector or defence secure environments.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance.
• Strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Architecture.
• Relevant experience across data, digital, security, and related domains.
• Ability to work in hybrid/remote environments as required.
