Responsibilities

• Head up the growing software development team and manage overall team performance.
• Line‑management duties including hiring, firing and overseeing daily well‑being of the team.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
• Balance management responsibilities (80/20 split) with occasional coding tasks when required.
• Collaborate with Scrum Managers, Project Managers, Product Owners and Team Leads in an active Agile Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years commercial experience managing and growing a successful software development team within a C# .Net Core and ASP.Net environment.
• Full‑stack development skills and strong understanding of the technology stack.
• Passion for software, innovation and technology.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Agile Scrum processes and working with senior developers, testers and automation.

Location & Notice

• Based in Coventry, West Midlands; public transport accessible and commutable from Nottingham, Derby and Burton.
• Salary up to £65k offered for the right candidate.
