Remote BI Developer

Salary: £37,000 – 77,000 per year

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a BI Developer
• Experience with SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server, T‑SQL, Power BI, or other Power BI tools
• Database design and administration experience, where appropriate
• Experience with software systems and technical design architecture
• Excellent time management and personal organisation skills

Responsibilities

• Work with business teams to gather requirements and convert them into modern and interactive data visualisations using Power BI where appropriate
• Develop and maintain systems and applications supported within the team, including SQL scripts, ETL, SSRS reporting, data warehouses, and the Power BI platform
• Work with the Manager – Software & BI Development to ensure data consistency, governance, and security are continually improved and reviewed
• Work within agreed methodologies, standards, and best practice to deliver a quality solution that meets agreed requirements
• Research and discuss change opportunities relating to software, services, and processes that could improve quality, development, deployment, and efficiency
• Promote the use of modern tools such as Power BI across the IT landscape
