IT Deployment Team Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deployment Lead to join our team on a 9‑month secondment/fixed‑term basis to cover a secondment within the team. This exciting opportunity will involve leading key transformation and digital deployment programmes across our Trust.

This role sits within the IT Operations Team, part of the wider Digital Service, responsible for leading the Trust’s digital strategy, development, coordination, planning, project management, and programme delivery across all digital and supporting services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Deployment Team, ensuring the delivery of an efficient, professional, and high‑quality service that supports the Trust’s IT equipment estate.
• Oversee the imaging, asset management, and deployment of new and existing IT equipment across Gloucestershire Health and Care (GHC).
• Take ownership of the full lifecycle management of GHC IT equipment.
• Work across all GHC sites, with normal base at Edward Jenner Court, Brockworth.
• Manage real‑time communications with customers regarding the status of IT services, clinical systems, and operational issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Digital Services and other departments to ensure incidents, requests, and service updates are communicated effectively and resolved efficiently.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong technical expertise in device imaging, hardware deployment, and IT asset management.
• Experience managing deployment teams and leading IT infrastructure initiatives.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and coordinate complex deployments within a large health‑care organisation.
