Job Description:
A leading Private Equity firm is seeking a Data Engineer to support the delivery of its cloud data platform transformation.
Working alongside the Data Lead and wider technology team, you’ll help migrate the business from a legacy SQL environment to a modern cloud-based data platform, building scalable data pipelines and supporting a major transformation programme.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with Databricks, SQL, and Fivetran
- Strong understanding of modern data engineering principles
- Experience with dbt, GitHub, or CI/CD beneficial
- Private Equity or Financial Services experience advantageous
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Support the migration to a modern cloud data platform
- Build and optimise data solutions using Databricks and Fivetran
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with the wider technology team to deliver key project milestones
