Overview

Data Quality Analyst – Contract: Fixed‑Term until April 2027. Salary: Grade 4 (£26,403-£28,142) pro rata. Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week (Flexi Time). Work Pattern: Mon – Fri. Location: Headquarters / Home‑working. The role ensures the execution of data quality routines, proactively monitors and reports on data quality issues, and provides systems administration and support for data collection systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure execution of data quality routines and proactive monitoring and reporting on data quality issues.
  • Provide systems administration and support for data collection systems.
  • Support Business Intelligence in managing key data collection systems and ensuring data quality to support informed decision‑making.
  • Ensure quality assurance of statutory obligations and submit data to the National Fire Chiefs Council, Ministry for Housing, Community and Local Government and other organisations.
  • Conduct system reviews, recommend performance improvements, collate and validate statistical returns, perform daily data quality checks, and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Track and audit data passing through Business Intelligence managed systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data quality management or a similar role.
  • Experience supporting development of key documentation.
  • Experience providing systems administration and support for data collection systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and understanding of data quality management tools.
  • Good communication and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
