Software Tester – FULL AUTOMATION TRAINING! – up to £35k

Overview
We are an international software house looking to recruit a skilled Software Tester to join our software development team. The role involves developing and contributing to current testing procedures and methods, utilising both manual and automated testing methodologies (no previous automated testing experience required – full training provided). Working closely with software engineers, you will ensure the highest standard of software quality through methodical and systematic testing of enhancements and bug fixes at the earliest possible stage in the development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
- Define testing approach and modify test cases as needed.
- Execute test scripts and manage defect identification and analysis.
- Gather, report, and monitor test metrics.
- Perform regression and performance testing.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and improve quality.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong experience in manual testing.
- Willingness to learn automation – full training provided.
- Mandatory ISTQB or ISEB qualification.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (Waterfall, Agile, V‑Model).
- Experience with Black‑Box/White‑Box testing.
- Basic coding experience is beneficial.
