Test Automation Manager

Are you a Test Automation leader looking to shape quality engineering strategies across some of the UK’s most complex transformation programmes?

We’re partnering with a leading digital consultancy that is investing heavily in its Quality Engineering capability and is looking for an experienced Test Automation Manager to lead teams, influence engineering strategy and remain hands-on with modern automation technologies.

The Role

As a Test Automation Manager, you’ll combine leadership and technical delivery, working with engineering teams to define automation strategies, implement best practices and deliver high-quality solutions at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and developing high-performing Quality Engineering teams
• Defining and implementing modern test automation strategies
• Remaining hands‑on with coding and automated testing frameworks
• Driving best practice across quality engineering and software delivery
• Working closely with clients to solve complex engineering challenges
• Helping shape the future of the organisation’s Quality Engineering capability

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading and developing automation engineering teams
• Strong background in test automation and modern Quality Engineering practices
• Experience working within cloud environments including AWS or Azure
• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and modern automation approaches
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting experience
