Overview

As the Storage & Virtualisation SME you will work in a dynamic infrastructure team, primarily responsible for the Enterprise SAN platform, VMware hosts and clusters. Backup, data management, capacity planning, technical and functional specifications, and leading a small team are key aspects of the role. This position aims to elevate the organization’s IT capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Enterprise SAN storage platform (HPE/Pure)
• Maintain VMware hosts and clusters
• Lead backup strategy and data management, ensuring availability and structure
• Plan capacity and write technical & functional specifications
• Collaborate with project managers and other SMEs
• Drive innovation and improvement in infrastructure

Qualifications & Skills

• Enterprise SAN storage experience (HPE/Pure)
• VMware virtualization expertise
• Windows Server, Linux, backup systems, AD, networking
• Knowledge of OpenStack, GIT, ITIL beneficial

Salary & Benefits

£50,000 – £60,000 per annum + Bonus, Car scheme, Gym, Pension, Free parking, Onsite canteen.
