Responsibilities
- Manage data quality issue remediation, working with stakeholders and escalating where appropriate
- Perform root cause analysis of systemic data quality issues
- Analyse datasets to identify errors, duplicates and inconsistencies
- Collaborate within the data management team to contribute to a high‑performing data quality function
Qualifications
- Experience working with business stakeholders and remediation teams, including data and IT architects and engineers, to address and resolve data issues
- Experience in data quality with knowledge of evolving best practices
- Understanding of data flows across banking operations, from front office to operations
- Experience of measuring, assessing and improving data quality in a large global organisation
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
- Proven track record of taking ownership and responsibility for work and working independently
- Proficiency with enterprise data quality and governance tools; well versed with Excel
- Familiarity with SQL or BI tools, Confluence and Jira is an added advantage
- Experience of working on a regional scale (across time zones and geography with remote teams)
