Requirements
- We want someone with strong hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related VMware technologies.
- We want someone with strong hands‑on experience with Nutanix Enterprise Cloud platforms.
- We want someone who understands infrastructure sizing, HA design, backup and DR strategies, and performance tuning.
- We want someone with good knowledge of hybrid cloud integrations and private cloud designs.
- We want someone with customer‑facing skills and the ability to translate technical requirements into business outcomes.
- We want someone with experience in modern workplace technologies such as M365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Intune, and MDM tools.
- We want someone with experience in Azure and/or AWS environments, including VM provisioning, storage, networking, IAM, and cost control.
- We want someone with scripting and automation knowledge such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
- We want someone with experience with backup solutions such as Veeam or Carbonite.
- We want someone who understands security principles related to infrastructure and cloud services.
- We want someone familiar with enterprise storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and HCI.
- Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes, Tanzu, or Docker would be advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as VCP, NCP, Azure Administrator Associate, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate would be beneficial.
- We want candidates who are UK based and have the right to work in the UK without restrictions.
Responsibilities
- We will lead technical design and presales activities for infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, virtualisation, and hybrid cloud.
- We will support customer engagements related to VMware, Nutanix, and cloud services.
- We will help shape and influence our technical strategy for scalable, resilient, and innovative server, storage, and virtualisation solutions.
- We will contribute to the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of customer environments.
- We will carry out proof of concept work, solution design, and customer‑facing presales activities.
- We will deliver full implementations when needed following presales activity.
- We will help grow our cloud and infrastructure service offerings.
- We will work across core infrastructure, storage, virtualisation, private cloud, Azure, and Intune.
- We will balance technical presales with project delivery.
- We will support customers across the M4 corridor and London, with minimal travel.
