Overview
Software Development Manager role to manage a Microsoft development team, both in‑house developers (ASP.Net, C#, MVC) and an offshore team. Oversee a team of developers and testers while providing hands‑on coding for 10–20 % of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 developers and testers across UK/European offices.
- Conduct appraisals, salary reviews, training and hiring from day one.
- Write and maintain ASP.Net/C#/MVC code.
- Ensure effective systems integration testing and promote automation testing.
- Communicate progress to Head of IT and present reports.
- Manage project timelines, resources and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
Technical Environment
- WEB Applications, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript.
