Job Description

Are you a Senior Front‑End Web Developer? Can you create exciting user interfaces? The UK’s biggest independent provider of software is recruiting a new Senior Front‑End Web Developer. You will be joining a new team of Web Developers and contributing to the design and requirements of our new products.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Lead Web Developer and be responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of web‑based software.
• Collaborate with UX/UI design documents and translate them into interactive, pixel‑perfect web interfaces.
• Ensure web solutions are accessible, responsive and adaptive across devices.
• Implement and consume RESTful Web Services and JSON & XML data.
• Apply best practices in web security and performance.

Qualifications

• Expert understanding of HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with jQuery, AngularJS and other JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility and responsive/adaptive design.
• Knowledge of web security concepts.
• Good presentation, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of AngularJS desirable.
