We are seeking an IT Manager / Software Developer with a hybrid skill set in IT Management and Software Development. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain and support internal infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain the eCommerce platform and business applications using C#, .NET Core, Database SQL Server, T‑SQL, Entity Framework and ASP.NET MVC.
• Support and transition legacy VB.NET applications.
• Oversee project management, specification writing, development, delivery and support.
• Produce business reports and collaborate with senior management on technology strategy, including cloud migration.

Required skills and experience:

• Proven C# MVC development and SQL expertise in commercial web software.
• Experience with .NET 4.5+, .NET Core, Web API, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Database design and maintenance in SQL Server.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Independent and self‑driven, able to integrate within the wider business.

This is a full‑stack position with a focus on back‑end development. Front‑end familiarity (JavaScript, CSS, HTML) is helpful but not essential.

Additional details:

• 80% of the role will involve new development; up to 20% will focus on legacy support.
• Complete training and access to third‑party resources will be provided.
• Permanent role based in the East Midlands, commutable from Nuneaton, Leicester, or Coventry.
