We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has proven C++ or C# experience on commercial software development projects
- Has experience working with 3D Graphics, CAD, Games or a strong mathematical background
- Is eager to bring ideas to the table and engage in research and development
Role: Senior Software Engineer required to work on cutting‑edge software products. You will work in an established, competent development team reporting to the Development Manager. The role requires strong C# or C++ skills and ideally a mathematical flair, either from A’Levels, a degree, or commercial games/3D development.
Technical environment: C#, .Net, C++, .Net Core, SQL Server, T‑SQL, DDD, AWS, MVVM/MVC, OpenGL, 3D Graphics, CAD.
This Senior Developer will work on the development of commercial/boxed software products and benefit from cross‑training into the full product range.
Other technologies include AWS, NoSQL, TeamCity. Cross‑training opportunities exist for those without this knowledge.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for translating business requirements into software solutions, estimating, designing, and implementing the logic that delivers system functionality, and adopting an end‑user perspective to test solutions adequately.
DotNet Development is all done in an Agile/Scrum environment, so prior experience with this methodology and familiarity with working to sprints is preferred.
We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, an understanding of the importance of teamwork, excellent communication, and a voice to bring ideas to the table.

Salary & Benefits: up to 50‑60K + 25 days holiday. Role is based in the Midlands area, easily commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, and Derby. Accessible by public transport. 2 days in the office.
