Overview

A British success story is looking for a Senior PHP Developer / WEB Developer to work on their core client‑facing WEB product. The role involves working independently and engaging with all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver new web‑based services offered to clients and assist with development and enhancements to internal software and databases, in collaboration with the Development Lead.
• Work with other business stakeholders, gathering requirements and delivering new software and data solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using PHP and CodeIgniter, SQL databases, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery.
• Produce clean, testable code.
• Work in an AGILE/SCRUM environment, presenting to team members and other business areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong experience in PHP, CodeIgniter, and SQL databases.
• Excellent skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as dc.js, d3, crossfilter is a distinct advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, gather requirements, and deliver solutions.
• Comfortable working in AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
