Contract Windows Systems Administrator, Windows Systems Admin, Windows OS, Windows 2012, Windows 8, Windows 2016, Windows 10, SQL Server, DevOps, processes & procedures, SQL reporting – 3-month contract – £350-375 a day – Nottingham, East Midlands.
Due to increased work demands, this leading Nottingham based software house requires a Windows Systems Admin with extensive Windows OS (Windows 2012, Windows 2016) experience and SQL Server experience and ideally some DevOps knowledge to hit the ground running and join the team to ensure completion of crucial system enhancements.
Key Skills
- Previous systems, applications and software based administration roles
- Windows OS administration – Windows 2012, Windows 2016, Windows 8, Windows 10
- Additional Microsoft SQL Server – ideally able to interpret, analyse and reconfigure SQL code as well as SQL reporting
Desirables
- DevOps, MS Windows Server, Networking & TCP/IP
You will be administering, maintaining, implementing, configuring and upgrading IT systems within the DevOps team as well as coordinating with other departments so a high level of best practice as well as policies and procedures is a must. Further responsibilities will include analysis and diagnostics of systems to ensure issues are resolved/escalated.
Day rate on offer is up to £375/day dependent on experience. This client is based in Nottingham accessible from most places in the East Midlands: Loughborough, Leicester & Derby as well as Chesterfield and South Sheffield though overheads are low if staying away through the week.
This is an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend, dependent on the upcoming and ongoing programme of work.
