About The Post

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Systems Development (ESD) team within Digital Technology Services (DTS) at the University of Westminster. This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week. The role is a key position at the heart of the University’s digital transformation agenda.

Responsibilities

You will take product ownership for a range of enterprise systems, leading their design, development, integration and continuous improvement to enhance the experience of both students and staff and to improve operational efficiency across the University.

You will work closely with colleagues across DTS, including Business Systems Development, ICT Operations, Service Management and Business Relationship Management, ensuring enterprise services are secure, resilient, well-integrated and user centric. You will collaborate with the ICT development and operations teams to maintain infrastructure and applications, represent the team internally, and promote the University externally with peers at other HE/FE institutions.

The ICT development team will work closely with the ICT operations team who are responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance and management of the University’s ICT infrastructure, systems and applications to ensure delivery of the agreed service levels.

You will engage, challenge and deliver to meet the requirements of our long and short‑term plans, building a successful team to deliver on the strategic roadmap for enterprise systems in supporting the university agenda of digital transformation.

About You

  • Experience as or strong knowledge in enterprise systems development and product ownership.
  • Ability to lead design, development, integration and continuous improvement of enterprise systems.
  • Collaborative approach working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with modern technologies and cloud-based solutions.

Working Arrangement

The role supports hybrid working, with a blend of on‑campus and remote working. Times when on‑site presence is required will be agreed in line with the University’s smart working framework and the needs of the service.

Location & Salary

Location: Central London.

Salary: £54,300 – £58,779 per annum (Incl. LWA).
