Infrastructure Engineer

Join one of Scotland’s leading Microsoft Partners. We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Managed Services team. This hands‑on technical role involves supporting, improving and modernising client IT environments across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, security and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line technical support and act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
• Design, implement and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Manage hybrid cloud environments, networking, backup and disaster recovery.
• Support security technologies including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and Conditional Access.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and modern management tools.
• Deliver proactive service improvements and infrastructure optimisation.
• Work closely with Service Desk, Projects and Consultancy teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
• Produce technical documentation and support client onboarding projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Microsoft Entra ID/Hybrid Identity, Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams, Cisco Meraki networking, Veeam Backup & Replication, Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, PowerShell scripting.
• Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment highly beneficial.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication and a genuine passion for technology.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a rapidly evolving technical landscape.
