About the role

Global Software House is seeking a senior iOS developer to join their expanding mobile team in the East Midlands. The role involves working within an agile product development team, embracing automation and devops, and contributing to the design and development of applications in R&D and production. The developer will also undertake research and attend conferences to keep both personal and team knowledge up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift 3+ and Xcode.
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs.
• Apply OOP principles and modern architecture patterns.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Perform automated builds and testing; support CI/CD pipelines.
• Attend relevant conferences and events to stay current on industry trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mobile application development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift, Xcode, and iOS SDKs.
• Experience with RESTful API integration.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and modern architecture patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Desirable: Experience with Android, JSON, automated build & test.
