Job Description

Senior Software Engineer required to work on cutting edge software products, primarily developing commercial/boxed solutions with C++ and C#.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into software solutions.
• Estimate, design, and implement the logic that delivers system functionality.
• Adopt an end‑user perspective to test solutions.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprints.
• Collaborate with a competent development team and report to the Development Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience with C++ or C#.
• Experience in 3D Graphics, CAD, Games or strong mathematical background.
• Knowledge of C++, C#, .NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, T‑SQL, DDD, AWS, MVVM/MVC, OpenGL.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent communication.

Technical Environment

C++, C#, .Net, .Net Core, SQL Server, T‑SQL, DDD, AWS, MVVM/MVC, OpenGL, 3D Graphics, CAD, AWS, TeamCity.

Salary & Benefits

Up to £50,000 – £60,000 per annum, 25 days holiday, pension and health benefits. Role is based in the East Midlands, self‑commutable and works in a hybrid (home & office) setting.
