Location: East Midlands, Nottingham. Industry: IT. Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum plus pension, health benefits and up to 25 days holiday.

Overview

Global software house and professional services company seeking a senior Android developer to join their mobile team at a modern office in Nottingham.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Android applications using Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
• Work within an agile product development team, embracing automation and DevOps.
• Undertake research and attend conferences to keep knowledge at the forefront of technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, OOP, and modern architectures.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience in agile/scrum environments.
• Desirable: experience with iOS, JSON, automated build & test.
