Description

Software Development Manager, managing a Microsoft .Net development team (ASP.NET, C#, MVC) and an offshore team. Responsible for both developers and testers, with an emphasis on system integration and automation testing.

The technical environment includes web applications, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript. The role requires hands‑on coding (10–20% of time).

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of approximately 10 developers across UK and European offices, including hiring, appraisal, salary reviews, and training.
• Oversee code quality, automation testing, and successful delivery of web projects.
• Manage budgeting, reporting and communication with the Head of IT and the board.
• Champion a culture of innovation and agility within the development team.

Qualifications

• Strong management experience with mixed on‑shore and offshore teams.
• Deep knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and web technologies.
• Experience with automation testing and system integration testing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and reporting skills.
