Forward Deployed AI Engineer – Post Trade – Front Office / Quant Research

• Salary: 140k GBP + 20–25% bonus
• Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with front office analysts to capture and transform knowledge and data, applying AI to produce actionable research.
• Develop and maintain AI solutions using agentic and generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI) and cloud services.
• Build and deploy Python-based APIs (FastAPI/Flask) on AWS infrastructure (ECS/EKS, Lambda, Bedrock, Docker).
• Integrate self-learning and agentic AI technologies to enhance research workflows.
• Lead AI initiatives with potential progression to Applied AI Lead / Director roles.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Python systems engineering with experience building APIs (FastAPI/Flask) and deploying on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, Bedrock, Docker).
• Proven production experience building generative AI applications (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar).
• Validated production experience with RAG, agent, and MCP based systems; familiarity with AgentOps (CI/CD, monitoring, optimisation).
• Applied, pragmatic “builder/hacker” mindset with rapid iteration from idea to proof of concept to production.
• Understanding of investment banking / research workflows and financial data platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv).
• Experience with M365 Copilot / Copilot Studio, plugins, and skills.
• Prior experience in a Post-Trade / Front Office environment.
• Front office knowledge, ability to discuss macro, derivatives or commodities, and cloud experience.
