Role: C# / WEB / SQL developer required to work on cutting edge software products. You will work in a fully established and competent development team reporting into a Development Manager. A forward-thinking client with a modern approach to development and the environment. Development teams based in the UK and further afield.
This role is a full stack job but you don’t need expert knowledge in all layers to get through the door, just solid C# & SQL Server. Front end skills can be trained where required.
Technical environment: C#, .Net, WEB API, ASP.Net, SQL Server, T-SQL, JavaScript, Angular, CSS
Responsibilities
As a .Net software engineer, you will work on the development of client‑facing products, in excess of 3 million users and benefit from cross‑training into the full product range this company has to offer.
As a C# Software Engineer, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into software solutions. This requires researching and developing the algorithms and programming in C#. You will estimate, design and implement the logic that delivers system functionality and is capable of adopting an end‑user perspective to test your solutions adequately.
DotNet Development is all done in an Agile/Scrum environment, therefore previous experience of this methodology and familiarity with working to sprints is preferred. You should also have a solid knowledge of MVC.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual who understands the importance of teamwork, has excellent communication skills and has good problem‑solving skills.
We prefer experience in:
- Commercial C# MVC development
- SQL Server and T‑SQL
- Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong analytical and programming ability
- Knowledge of ASP.NET and MVC architecture
