Senior Mobile App Developer

Salary: £56,000 – 84,000 per year

Requirements

• We require 8 years of software development experience.
• We require 3 years of advanced hands‑on Flutter development experience.
• We require 4 years of experience developing data‑driven mobile applications.
• We require expert proficiency in Dart and experience with at least one additional language such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective‑C.
• We require a strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and design patterns.
• We require strong experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• We require a strong grounding in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving.
• We require professional experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub.
• We require experience working with CI/CD for mobile applications.
• We require self‑motivation, proactive learning, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
• We require excellent communication skills, including experience working with distributed teams.
• Bluetooth/BLE integration experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• We design, develop, test, document, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• We contribute to architecture and technical decision‑making across the mobile development lifecycle.
• We build data‑driven applications integrating with RESTful backend services.
• We apply secure‑by‑design principles, including secure coding, data protection, and vulnerability mitigation.
• We develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
• We collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, workflows, and technical solutions.
• We participate in design, architecture, and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• We deliver software on time, including documentation, unit tests, and required artefacts.
• We contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• We support secure development lifecycle activities, including dependency and vulnerability management.
• We evaluate tools, frameworks, and processes to drive continuous improvement.
• We write clean, maintainable, testable, and reliable code.
• We work effectively in asynchronous and multi‑threaded environments.
• We mentor junior engineers and champion high engineering standards.
• We operate within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
