Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Support Engineer to join this communications company, a solid & stable organisation working with many leading UK bluechip clients.
This role involves designing, optimising, maintaining and improving software build and deployment pipelines, and supporting the BAU Infrastructure team. You will embrace DevOps techniques and be responsible for developing and maintaining operational standards for the release and deployment of software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, optimise, and maintain software build and deployment pipelines.
- Support the BAU Infrastructure team.
- Apply DevOps techniques to develop and maintain operational standards for release and deployment.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
Qualifications
- Solid IT infrastructure background with experience in core technologies: VMware, Active Directory, Windows Server, Linux.
- Experience automating tasks with PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with software build and deployment, manual or automated.
- Experience with T‑SQL.
