Software Tester – Manual Testing / 3rd Party integration testing – Security/Vulnerability testing – Contract 250 a day

Software Tester, Test Analyst, ISEB/ISTQB, SQL, WEB, Agile/Scrum – Software House, Coventry

Contract role: A 5‑month contract to work as a Software Tester on a specific project for a software house in Coventry. The role requires a tester able to deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in projects where security is key.
• Experience with 3rd party integration testing, ideally with Visa, Mastercard or similar.
• Proficiency with Postman, Fiddler, Soap UI, JMeter.
• ISEB/ISTQB trained.
• Experience in a web development environment using Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross‑functional Scrum team with Developers, Business Analysts and UI designers.
• Participate from inception to delivery, using Agile tools and techniques such as Three Amigos.
• Break functionality into testable units, devise testing approaches, write test cases and execute manual tests.
• Test features at all levels: front‑end UI, APIs and back‑end components.
