Our client is a major software provider specialising in developing airport systems. They have contracts with major airports worldwide, including a large presence at Heathrow. The role is based on site and requires a strong background in managing multiple software development and IT projects. The manager will serve as the single point of contact for SLA management and escalation for all service‑related issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage systems development/integration projects, especially real‑time online systems.




• Deliver multiple IT projects using formal project management methods (Prince II, MSP, or similar) with full delivery and financial responsibility.




• Act as the primary contact for SLA management and escalation of service‑related issues.




• Negotiate and manage contracts and client relationships.




• Maintain customer satisfaction and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience managing systems development/integration projects in a business‑critical environment.




• Track record of delivering multiple IT projects using formal methods such as Prince II, MSP, or equivalent.




• Strong customer‑facing and client negotiation skills.




• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management experience.




• Experience underpinning contracts.




• Experience within the airline industry is a plus.
