Software Engineer

LOCATION: London, Leicester or Manchester

SALARY: Up to £50,000 + Benefits

CLEARANCE: The ideal candidate will be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for multiple Software Developers to join a large-scale public sector digital transformation programme. Working within Agile delivery teams, you will design, develop, test and support modern software solutions that deliver real value to end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clean, secure and well-tested code using modern development practices
• Design and build scalable applications and services
• Support live services and resolve production issues
• Contribute to system integration and solution design activities
• Follow and help improve engineering standards and best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software

Required Experience

• Experience with Java
• Understanding of software development principles gained through work, education or personal projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
