We have a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Support Engineer to join a communications company. The role involves designing, optimising, maintaining, and improving software build and deployment pipelines while supporting the BAU Infrastructure team. The position also embraces a DevOps approach, requiring development and maintenance of release and deployment operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimise, maintain, and improve software build and deployment pipelines.
• Support the BAU Infrastructure team.
• Develop and maintain operational standards for release and deployment of software.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Execute manual or automated software builds and deployments.
• Write T‑SQL queries as needed.
• Apply DevOps techniques and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Solid IT infrastructure background with experience in VMWare, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux.
• Experience automating tasks with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Experience with software build and deployment (manual or automation).
• T‑SQL experience.
• Desire to learn DevOps principles (training provided).
